New Addition

So last night Uncle Charlie brings in this cute little kitty cat who just happens to look a lot like Bear. It's scary how much they look a like. He's so cute. So we took him to our apartment. He was so hungry and wanted attention. So I fed him some turkey that he practically in haled so we took him home and fed him some wet cat food. I went to the store to get kitty food. We have cat food but I figured kitty food would be good for him, and I needed more cat litter. Charlie came up with a good name for him Griz so we call him Mr. Grizzly. He's so cute. He's very playful and the perfect playmate for Bear. So we went out today and got a cat climber Bear has been needing one and so we figured since we have a new addition we could really use one. We got a bunch of new cat toys too. So we have two happy cats. =D

Breaking News

So since Les and I do not have internet it's taken me a while to post the latest. So Monday morning I go to work and I'm the first one there, and I'm walking up to the door and the left side door the glass is shattered. So I search my pockets for my cell phone to call 911 and of all days I forget my cell phone. So because we are surrounded by businesses and they all don't open till like nine, I slowly walked inside to get the phone to call 911. So I talk to the operator and tell her that Sonic was broken into. She asks me for the address and I have no idea what our address is. So I told her Sonic off of Colorado Blvd. and that we are across from the mall and in between the social security office/post office and the Veterans clinic center place. I called it the Veterans Place...lol. So she asks me if I have touched anything and I said only the door and the phone. So she tells me to wait in my car and that she has dispatched police. So I go and sit in my car and not even two minutes later a cop shows up. We both go inside and inspect and thank goodness the closer locked the safe otherwise they would have gotten away with quite a bit of cash. What was strange though was there was a jar of change by the computer that they didn't take, there was a car hop changer that was left there, and there was eleven bucks in the drawer that wasn't taken. They had looked through the drawers because they were open and one was pried open but luckily no one was there when they broke in and luckily they didn't get away with anything, but it was a frightening experience.

Rude awakening

So the other night, this past week, we had a storm go through and Les and I were in bed. I had just dosed off and all of sudden I hear this racket and I knew exactly what it was. So in our apartment we have these two windows in the living room and the second one is above the first since it's a two story loft like apartment. Well I guess Bear, our cat, wanted to look out the top window that has the living room under it. Well it didn't work out too well. He clung to the curtains but that didn't last long. Then he fell and the Christmas tree broke his fall and he broke one of my Barbie ornaments and one of the branches. lol. It's funny now, it was NOT at the time. So that is our crazy cat Christmas story....lol. =D

December

So married life is going well. I've been sick with the flu and Les has had to work overnights this week. So we both have been a little off this week. I can't believe Christmas is now less than three weeks away. We have our Christmas tree up. I can't wait to do our Christmas baking and I've been putting mula aside for doing after Christmas shopping with Mom. I can't wait. I haven't been shopping in forever and I'll get to spend time with my Mommy. =D

being married

So we have our apartment pretty much set up how we want it minus a few details. I love being the wife and cooking dinner although without cable and internet and chick flicks it gets kind of boring...lol. We had mom and dad over for dinner last sunday and this sunday we are having Les' family over for dinner. =D I'm making dessert for Thanksgiving with the Deal's. =D I'll be making pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cheese cake, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I can't wait. So we have a lot to look forward to. Next friday I'll be wanting to put the Christmas tree up that Mom found for us last year. =D So lots to look forward too. =D

Apartment part two

So today Les and I got everything to the apartment and took it out of the boxes. I have the kitchen almost completely set up with the exception of a couple of things. I am so excited and can't wait till it's completely finished. The kitchen is almost done. Our side tables, coffee table, and rug are set up in the living room. Les put more lighting in the apartment. Yay! We got almost all of our basic grocery stuff with the exception of a couple things I forgot and cold stuff since we won't actually be in the apartment regularly till the end of the week. YAY again! Well I am really tired and need to go to bed so more details to come.

Apartment

So Les and I started painting our apartment yesterday. It's looking amazing; we can't wait to finish it. We are hoping to finish it today, and then we should be able to move stuff in by the end of the week. Maybe we'll have an apartment warming party or something so everyone can come see it. =D It's looking good. =D I can't wait to show it off when we're done painting. =D

Holy Crap

So holy crap is it going to be busy from here on out or what. My bridal shower is next weekend, we'll be painting our apartment in two weeks, moving in in three weeks, and we're getting married in four weeks from today. We have lots to do so we're in crunch time but it's all starting to finally sink in. I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D It's almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

YAY!!!!!

So Les and I have some very exciting news. We found our apartment. We are super excited and can't wait to move in. It's a loft so our bedroom is upstairs and it's enormous. Downstairs is a half bath, the dining room, the living room, the kitchen, and we have a wood fireplace. =D We are so excited. WE can not wait to get it all ready to move into. The owners before us painted it dark blue in the dining room, the living room is a mustard yellow and the ceiling in the living room goes up to the second floor so there is a lot of mustard yellow, and then the upstairs bedroom is an avocado green. I don't know what they were thinking. They were going to paint it back to white but we want to paint it so their going to knock like 50 bucks off our first months rent or something like that. We are right by the office so it'll be quiet. YAY. We are right next to the laundry mat. We could probably throw it from our front door. OMG we are so freakin excited and can't wait. We did the application this weekend and she told us she's taking that one off of the available list and that it'll be ours so next weekend we'll come in with the deposits since Les gets paid Thursday and I'll have a week worths of tips. We're going to see if we can move in the first and see if we can come a couple weekends before to paint it but not actually move in till the 1st. I can't wait. We absolutely love it and can't wait to move in and make it ours. Oh and the 7 1/2 foot tree Mom bought us last year after Christmas will definitely fit in the living room since the ceiling in that room goes up to the second floor. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The latest and greatest

So here is the latest and greatest with the wedding plans. We will not have the reception at The Holiday Inn. It's going to by a kind of VIP reception for really family only. The reception is now going to be at The Greenhouse Restaurant which is like a block away from the church. So people can walk to the restaurant if they want or they can drive. I put down a deposit and so it's set. All we got to figure out now is the time.

emergency plan b

So Les and I are trying to come up with an emergency plan B since the Holiday Inn is now way over budget. What we are thinking is trying to rent a mom and pop type restaurant and do a dinner reception. The only thing is that if we get a mom and pop type place it'll be cheaper but it most likely won't hold everyone that is being invited and will most likely come to the wedding. So I'm trying to think of a way on how we can do it at a mom and pop type place.

So I think we are just ready to go to Vegas....lol.

Wedding = stress

So I found out this week that it is going to cost us 500 bucks to use our church for our ceremony which will last like 30 minutes. They didn't tell us that there was money involved and that it was that much when we were taking our premarital counseling with Danny. They just said that we needed to sign some papers which we haven't yet because we moved buildings and now there is someone else in charge because the lady who was moved to the main campus. So I'm a little ticked off. And we are already so over budget with the reception. I think we both are ready to just go to the JP and get it over with...lol. We had a budget and told the Holiday Inn that this was our budget and we new it was going to be a little bit over but now it's like there are all these hidden costs and it's really frustrating. So what we are thinking now is doing a combined reception and ceremony if they'll let us. My friend Stephanie is having her wedding the weekend before ours and hers is outside. I think an outside wedding would be pretty too. There is just nowhere cheap to do a wedding in Denton. Mike (who's my manager) offered up his yard for the wedding. He has like 5 acres. Anyways that is my frustration at the moment.

Canada

Canada was a blast but unfortunately I will not be posting pictures of the wonderful vacation. I was messing with settings the very last day in Canada and hit format thinking it would format my pictures differently on my camera and I was extremely wrong. It formats the disk/card and erases everything on it so I have no pictures from Canada!!! =( I am not a happy camper. I had some awesome shots. I had a picture of Corey water skiing from the bridge. It was an awesome shot. My blueberry picking pictures of Ashely and myself are gone! My sunset pictures of the lake with the moon are gone. My pictures of Les and I at the dump with the bears are gone. My eagle pictures are gone. My fishing pictures are gone. And my pictures of Les water skiing are gone!!! So pretty much sucks to be me right now!!!! I'm pretty ticked off at myself for that. So everyone else SEND ME YOUR PICTURES!!!!!!

Bear

Okay so I know I haven't posted in forever so the next few days will be post overload okay. So I had taken pictures of our new kitty cat but I couldn't find my cord to upload pictures onto my computer until now that and I didn't look too hard...lol

So our little kitty is very playful. He likes to get on his hind legs and just like stands there and that is why we named him bear. It's really funny. Okay so the other night I was on the couch and well our little Bear decided to use my forehead as a launching pad to get to the cat climber so I have two nice scratch marks on my forehead and in my scalp...lol it's funny now it wasn't at the time...lol

Wedding

So we now have an official date. Our new date is November 7th. YEAH!!!! Yesterday Les and I checked out the Holiday Inn that was decorated for a wedding anniversary. All that was really missing was the head table and I have to say it looked really nice and I can't wait for them to do our reception .... especially all the work....lol. I would like to do chair covers but we are already over budget so we may not do chair covers unless I can come up with even more money for the reception. But either way the reception will be nice. All we need to come up with now is music and a DJ and all that stuff that goes with that .... which means more money. Grrrr!!! We're going to go look at cakes next weekend at Candy Haven. I'll have to sit down with Mom and try to come up with a rough official number so we can get all the details done with at the Holiday Inn and Candy Haven. Well so far that's the latest and greatest.

Lake Murray

So Les and I decided to take a very spur of the moment camping trip when we got off of work yesterday. So we quickly packed our crap and left for Lake Murray which is about an hour away. So we take off and we are ready to go. Well right before we got onto I35 I remembered that I forgot to grab the air mattress plugs. So we turn around and head home real quick. I jump out and grab the plugs and we are off again. Well then I decided to look for the directions that I had written down, and well I couldn't find them. So I call Mom and she told me what exit to take. So it started off real well can't you tell?! lol. So we get to Gainesville and stop to eat and get some groceries for breakfast and some snacks so then we hit the road again. We get there and go to look for a campsite in the main area and it is full and everyone is basically camped on top of each other. So we decide to leave that section and go elsewhere. So we drove down further and found a place that was nice and not on top of each other. So we set up camp and then go to the store to go buy firewood. We get back and are trying to make a fire and failed at that. So we sat in our camp chairs looking at what should have been a fire. Well since Les and I are up early for work we hit the hay by about ten. Here's were it gets good. So at about 11:30 we wake up to loud roars and engine revving. We were camped next to a bunch of bikers. I nearly peed my pants. So eventually that stops and we fall back asleep. Then at about 2 we wake up to a bird cooing. I eventually fell asleep I don't know if Les did. I know he was pretty irritated with the bird. So then a little while longer the bird sounds like it is literally right outside cooing. So Les gets out of the tent and throws rocks at the trees and such to try to shut it up and well it worked as well as our fire. It eventually shut up and I tuned it out. Then at about 6:30 we were wakened once again to CROWS!!!! CAW CAW ..... CAW CAW CAW!!!!!!!!!! So we got out of bed at seven. We drove up to the bathrooms. I was tired of peeing in the woods and it was light out. We got back and packed up camp and headed out. We drove around and there really isn't much to do there if you don't have a boat or jet ski. So we waited for Tucker Tower to open at nine. While going to Tucker Tower Les saved a box turtle. Then we went to Tucker Tower. Saw that, took pictures, and headed back. We were home by about 11 I want to say. It was quite the adventure and was a fun little get a way. So that was our weekend so far!!! lol!!!

Walmart

So I got off of work and first I headed to Target. I needed to buy flowers for my bridal portraits tomorrow and didn't see anything I really liked. I went to ghetto Walmart. I parked near lawn and garden and went in that way. So I have my big sunglasses on, I'm texting my Les, I have my Sonic jacket, shirt, and apron, so it looks like I just got off of work or am about to go to work. Not to mention my shirt is purple and my jacket is BRIGHT blue. This lady asks me as I'm walking into Walmart how much something cost. I said "I don't know I don't work here!!" and kept walking. It does say sonic all over my clothes....hello...Some people are retarded. So that's my story for the day.

It's official

Yes it's official. Les and I are engaged. YAY!!!!!

Another one off the list

So yesterday I took the day off of work so Les and I could get our passports. By the time I would have gotten to work I would have had to leave about two and a half hours later so it wasn't worth it so I just took the day off. Yesterday was very productive. Since Les and I got the storage unit I had gotten some rubber maid containers and took advantage of my day off. I went through my closet and packed away all my winter clothes since it is definitely no longer winter. I packed away my costumes and civil war clothes in another container. In the last container I packed my suvineer shirts and flannel sheets and seems like there was something else in that container. Either way I cleared a bunch of space in my closet and drawers. I need two more containers but I can't get those till next month. My grocery money is out for the month. I'll need one for Sonic winter gear and such and then one for this years Christmas gifts. Then I can get the camping tent and chairs out of my closet. Once I get the gifts out I can get to the tent. I went through some of my clothes and they will be heading out to Goodwill soon. Once Les got off of work we went up to the post office and then we had the wrong birth certificate so we went to the court house to get it. Luckily he was born in Denton so it was easy to get an official birth certificate. And while we were there we were able to do our passport stuff there. So we got our passport stuff sent off so we will be getting those soon. YAY!!! One more thing off the list. It is a very nice feeling when you can cross things off your financial list. =D So now all I really have to worry about is paying Dad back, insurance coming up in June, and my regular credit card. YAY!!! Oh and I'm slowly catching up with my tithes. This is a good feeling crossing things off the list of things to pay for and people to pay back. YAY!!!! Geeze when did I become and adult. It kind of sucks in some aspects...lol. Well that's all for now.

One more

So yesterday when I got off or work Les came over, and we went and found a storage place and got a storage unit. That'll make Mom happy because I can get my stuff out of hers, and it'll make me happy because I have Christmas gifts for both sides of our families for next year stored in my closet as well as our camping tent and camping chairs. I can pack my winter clothes up because it is definitely gone, and I can clear my room up a bit. YAY!!!!!

A Step Further

So today, Les and I went storage hunting and found one possibility. Well while we were storage hunting we decided to look at a couple of apartments and we found a place that we are pretty happy with. It's nice and it is in a good location for the both of us and it's on the side of Denton that we are used to....so we won't be in foreign territory...lol We are super excited. It's reasonable. They are older but they don't look like it. They are very well kept up. =D

Indecisive

So I have been rather indecisive about my bridesmaid dresses. Well I was thinking and looking because I really wasn't happy with my choice, and it didn't strike me as anything special to me. Well I finally found the bridesmaid dresses that I'm really truly happy with. I love them and think they go perfectly with our colors and such and they go along really well with the flower girl dresses. I am super excited about them.

Bridesmaid Dresses

So I have finally decided on my Bridesmaid dresses. I have decided that since all of my Bridesmaids with the exception of Jess already have matching Bridesmaid dresses. So Katie and Kelly can use theirs from Jess' wedding. Jess can use mine since we are like the same size and if Jenn is pregnant well she can then wear whatever she wants and if she isn't she has a dress. That way no one really has to spend money on their Bridesmaid dress. So then all Jess and Jenn have to worry about are the flower girl dresses. So that is what I've decided.... lol

The latest with the wedding

So I have decided to make my bridesmaid dresses. So Jenn don't order yours. I made me a dress this weekend and I put it on and it hit my like a bolt of lightening that if they were done in black that they would be really cute bridesmaid dresses and you could totally wear them way more than once. They'll be strapless and black and will totally work with everyone's body type. (Even if your pregnant Jenn) I'll try to post a picture of the dress I made so you can picture it in black. Jess had a good idea too so I might even make the flower girl dresses. If I can find the right patter and the right material I'll make the flower girl dresses. We may have found a place for our reception. I got to wait for Mom to get back so I can show it to her.

Not Happy

So I e-mailed the gal who was in charge of the Argyle Campus to get the details for moving our wedding there and all the details for that and I found out that we can't have it there. So we'll do our ceremony at the Denton Campus but I have no idea where we will have the reception and that also means that we won't be able to do the wedding as cheap as we wanted because now we are going to have to spend money to do a reception somewhere. I'm totally out of whack here and want to cry. =(

A Big Fall

So I went to work today and got on my new skates. I hadn't been there for even an hour and I was thinking I'm not too bad on these new skates. (I usually rollerblade but I wanted to try roller skating...I call them quads) So here I was thinking I'm not too bad on my quads and then that's when I jinxed myself. I took out an order and I don't know how it happened but I fell. I don't know really how it happened if I just rolled off the curb or just lost my balance or what. So I hit the ground. My elbow hit the curb, I landed on my butt sounds not too bad but I have no padding back there (unlike mom =D) So the top half of my rear is bruised. I was covered in soda because I hadn't given them their food yet so that meant that the food was soaked as well. I landed on ketchup packets, my changer fell off. I got the wind knocked out of me. So my back, my neck (i guess a whip lash kind of thing), my butt, and my elbow hurt. I know I bruised my elbow and my butt. =( I did get a two dollar tip out of it though. Oh and the guy in the car next to us got out of his car to make sure I was okay. How embarrassing. Seriously I just wanted to die right then and there. So that has been my wonderful middle of the week story. I hope you all get a good laugh at my expense. =D

A new week

So it's already Monday afternoon. Les is much better. YAY!!! This weekend we didn't do much. We went rollerblading/rollerskating. I rollerskated and Les rollerbladed. We got our passport pictures taken. I still need to get the paper work for the both of us. Saturday I went to the bank and deposited my change. I had a little over 300 dollars in change. It weighed a ton. Battlestar Galactica season four starts Friday. I'm excited Les isn't. I've decided that this will be the Les and Lou Blog. Les doesn't blog much and contributes once in a blue moon...lol. Well that about sums up our exciting life...lol.

Sick

My Les is sick. He's been sick. He started feeling bad Monday afternoon. He missed work yesterday and today and will tomorrow. He's going to the doctor tomorrow. I hope he feels better soon. I hate seeing him sick and down. My poor Les.

Wedding Regestry

So Jessica Martin, Les, and I went to Bed Bath and Beyond. Les and I registered for our wedding gifts. I'm super excited about it all. I think Les got a little tired of it after a while. Bed Bath and Beyond is the only place we registered. Unfortunately though the gray silvery towels that we want are discontinued so when the store is out of them that is it. So we may have to have an alternative if we don't get them. Earlier this week we got our bed set and our nice dishes. They are seasonal and we kept seeing them slowly disappear off the shelves and not being replenished. We had to go to two different targets to get our complete set of really nice dishes. All in all it was a very productive day. =D

Winter Wonderland

Winter again

So we got more snow and I mean more snow!! We got 7 inches according to the news. It was amazing. I worked in it. I left around 3:30 I didn't get home till 5. It took me an hour to get home. To get home normally takes me 10 minutes. Sonic is less than three miles from my house. I made good tips though. I think they were mostly sympathy tips but I'll take 'em. =D

Colors

So I decided on my colors for the reception. I want to do black table cloths with silver plates, silver cups, silver silver wear, and white napkins. I think it looks fabulously. =D

Winter in March

So last night is snowed and decent for North Texas. So last night Les, Bub, and I went outside and then decided to venture off to the lake. The snow was coming down really good. It was hitting us all in the face when we were going down to the lake. So Les had a hoodie on and was covered in snow. Charlie's pants had ice on the bottoms of them when we came in, and the snow hitting me in the face wiped off some of my make up. My eye liner and mascara and it had run all over my face. It looked I got socked in the face. It was funny.

Details

So today we moved into the new church building. It was very exciting. The worship center is amazingly beautiful. I can't wait to get married in there. It's going to be wonderful and then across from there is where we'll have the reception. It's connected to the kitchen. I can not wait to have the wedding there. I was excited before about the wedding but now knowing where we are going to have it is even more exciting. I found my shoes for my wedding dress. They are a very light silver and match my dress wonderfully and what's even better is that they were under 20 bucks. =D We found out that we can't have the wedding on Saturday because we have Saturday service. So the wedding will most likely be Friday, October 17th. I'm very excited about our new building and our wedding being in the new building. It is awesome awesome stuff. =D

Done

Well I am officially done with Victoria's Secret. I had my last day today. I had to get all of my stuff out of my locker and it was kind of weird.

We picked up my wedding dress today and I look like a princess!!!! =D

Fun

So last night Les, and I met up with our friends Mel and Evan and went to Main Event. It was so much fun. We went bowling for an hour and after our first game we decided that it would be fun to bowl with our opposite hand, and it was. We probably looked funny too but it was lots of fun. We ordered pizza and so we got to eat while playing, and that was nice. Then we played some arcade games. I don't know what games Mel and Evan played but all Les and I played was ski ball. I love that game. We got one of those electricity balls but it looks like an eye. It's pretty cool. All in all last night was a very fun night. =D

Middle of the week already

So it's Wednesday already. This week has seemed to go by kind of quickly. Today I started my first day back at Sonic. I liked it. I'm starting at six and hour plus tips. Today I averaged about 12 bucks an hour. Not bad at all I got to say. So now I can't wait to be done with Vickie's. I liked working there but I had to swallow my pride and go where I can make money and get out of debt in a realistic amount of time. So my manager Mike was my assistant manager at my old sonic and he's really cool. He's nice and knows how to work with people, how to get the job done, and doesn't talk down to anyone. He actually started me out more than what I was making at my old Sonic. =D All in all it was a very good day. The sky is looking clearer for me. =D

Lazy Monday

So today so far has been a lazy Monday. Yesterday we (Les, Jess, and myself) went to our main church campus at 9:30. Les and Jess want to become members so we're doing the welcome class. I saw some old friends. It was nice to briefly catch up with them. And as for today, well I could be doing a lot of things but instead I have done a whole lot of nothing. =D I work tomorrow at Victoria's Secret and then Wednesday I'll be at Sonic and Thursday back at Victoria's Secret and then I have the whole weekend off unless Sonic wants to use me Friday and Saturday. Wednesday we are going to go meet with Danny again. I'm looking forward to that. It sounds like we'll be in our new building at church in March. That's exciting. I can't wait to see it to see if we can do a ceremony and reception there. If not, we'll do it at the main campus in Argyle. Well I'm going to go do something with my hair and then work on my project.

Well I really should be sleeping since I have to get up in about six and a half hours but I can't. So I just got done watching some America's Next Top Model and well now I'm just chillin' in my room and listening to Cali chew on her box (it's quite annoying) and the rain on the roof. I like the sound of rain. It's very soothing to me. So hopefully it'll put me to sleep. Well my computer is starting to really tick me off so I'm done.

Eventful week

So far it's been an eventful week. Monday we went to Olive Garden. We planned on going to the movies Tuesday but it didn't pan out so we just relax not too eventful. Today we had pre-marital counseling with Danny our pastor. I met Les' Great Grandma. And I got hired back at Sonic. I am stoked. I'm thrilled. It's going to help me out a lot. I can get hours and get paid well. Tomorrow is our rephotoshoot with Jess. I don't work Friday so I may call Danny H (sonic Danny) and see if he wants to meet up and talk about my schedule. I work Saturday and Sunday is church. So it's been an eventful week for us. We normally don't do much. lol. Well it's late and I got to get up kind of early.

Well last night Les and I went to Olive Garden. Good stuff. I've got to say that's probably our favorite restaurant. Tonight we're going to the movies. Tomorrow we're going to go talk with Danny our pastor about marriage and all the goes along with that. Then Thursday we have another photo shoot with Bella Designs. =D So during the week is going to be pretty busy. I'm excited about all of it. I should be cleaning my room but I keep procrastinating on it. I just don't have the motivation for it...lol. You think I would since it takes me forever to find an outfit because all of my clean clothes are on the floor and not put up in my dresser or the closet oh and they are mixed in with the dirty clothes. It's not like I go roll around in the mud so at least it doesn't stink up my clean clothes....lol Well I guess I better work on that project. I've been playing on the computer all morning and part of the afternoon. =D

Friday

Ah well it is already Friday. It doesn't feel like Friday to me. I don't know what if feels like. Fridays are different when you aren't in school and work on Saturdays. Well I did get a lot done this week wedding wise. I'm still trying to figure out bridesmaid dresses. It's turning stressful...lol. Valentine's Day is less than a week away. I've never really like Valentine's Day. I've always thought that if you love someone you should celebrate it all the time and Les and I do that so we're looking at it as a date night and our date night will be Monday not Thursday...lol. Monday's at Olive Garden the salad and bread sticks are unlimited and free so we're all about that. Olive Garden is definitely I would say our favorite restaurant. I did get Les a little something for Valentine's Day but I just look at it as another thing I found for him that he would like. I'm always getting stuff for him that looks like something he'd like. (that's when I can afford it) So I'd say we do "Valentine's Day" often. =D Oh I applied at Sonic this week. It's good money and I need to get my finances straightened out. I applied at the one in Highland Village off of 407 and at my old Sonic in Denton. I intend on applying at more. I really would like to go back so I can get my finances straightened out and in good standings before October.

Wedding Dress

So today Mom and I went out to Frisco to hook up with Jess and we had lunch with Miss Jacey Beth. After we had lunch with Jacey, we went to David's Bridal. We spent a good couple of hours there, and we found my wedding dress. It's so amazing. I look like a princess. =D That was my goal. =D It's awesome. I'd post picture but Les has a blog too and well he can't see my dress before the wedding. I'm super excited. =D

Planning

So I didn't work yesterday and decided to go out to Frisco to hang out with Jess. We had a lot of fun. We have a ton of ideas going for the wedding. I'm so excited and so greatfull I have my wonderful sister to help me. I think I would be in over my head if I didn't have her help. We got stuff to make couple shower invitations. Super excited about that. We went to IKEA. I took a catalog home and Les and I have pretty much picked out all the furniture for the apartment. It all will cost us under 1800 dollars. I don't think that's bad at all for the bedroom, living room, and dining room. We like it and it's cheap and good quality stuff. I watch Jon and Kate plus 8 on TLC and they get their stuff at IKEA and having 8 kids and it's not trashed I'd say it's good stuff....lol. I can't wait to get my work schedule for next week to figure out what day I have off so I can go back out there and work on wedding stuff. I realized that it's now less than nine months away. CRAZY!!!

Sunday

So today we (Jess, Bub, Les, and I) went to church. We came home and had about five minutes before we (Jess, Les, Mom, and I and met up with my sister Jess, Jacey, and Helena) left to go down into Dallas for the Bridal Show. I had a lot of fun. I got a lot of great ideas. I can't wait to get started on it all, and really can't wait for Jess to help me with it. =D and be her guinea pig =D I don't mind. We got a lot of basic stuff figured out. People who are in the wedding, what dresses the bridesmaids and flowergirls are going to wear. Oh yea I won 50 chocolate covered strawberries with a wedding package for Candy Haven. =D Yummy they are so wonderful. We have our colors. We now what kind of flowers we want. We have a date in mind. We know that we want Danny to marry us. Jessica will do our photography and Steven I'm assuming has been voluntold that he'll do the ceremony. Jess will also do save the date cards, invitations and any other creative thing that needs to be done..lol. Both Les and I have agreed on one thing for sure or at least I know I'm sold on is a photobooth. You can rent it out for a few hours and it takes pictures through out the reception of all your guests and adds a nice fun little element to it and they'll all have to kick Les and I out of it...lol. I really like that idea and it's definately something to remember. We'd like it to be rememberable. Well it's getting late.

I haven't really kept up with the upcoming presidential election later on this year, but I've realized I need to start keeping up with that since I will be able to vote this year!!! =D so exciting!!! All I know though is that I'm with Charlie if Hilary Clinton becomes president I'm leaving the country...lol. I am all about women making a career and a path for themselves, but I strongly believe a woman shoudn't be president. I personally don't feel like a woman is cut out for the job. Women are emotional and will base decisions on emotion instead of taking a step back looking at the situation whatever situation that might be and make a decision based on the facts. But I do need to start keeping up with the race. I know one candidate just dropped out and that's about it. I need to keep up with them what their issues are and ect. all that fun political stuff. But I am excited I get to vote in this year's election. I was about six months shy last time. dang it.

Not good not good at all

I'm only scheduled fourteen hours next week. Nineteen with my two on calls....grrrrr. That doesn't make me a happy camper. I need the hours and bad. So hopefully I'll get a call back from Lowe's.

Lost

So we finished Lost season three and it ROCKED!!!! We can't wait for season four to start. January 31st baby!!!

Fed up

So I'm fed up with crappy jobs. I do and don't like my job. I like it because I kind of am my own boss in a way. I go along my buisness without being interrupted and I can be anti-social. I also do it well and fast. They give me as many hours as possible so what am I fed up is the question. I don't like some of my managers. They treat me like a baby and like it's my first day on the job or that I don't know how to do my job which is completely WRONG! I do my job and even though my room is messy when I leave work the back isn't messy. I try and keep it as clean and clear of crap as possible. So one of my managers without a doubt gets on my last nerve everytime I wind up working with her. She always asks what I'm doing as I'm processing clothes, or panties, or putting clothes up, or moving things around....what's it look like I'm doing picking daisies. Hello...duh. I have no patients for stupid....people, questions, etc. So today I got to work and there was one box left and shipment hadn't arrived and I only had a three hour shift and then I had an oncall which means they may or may not use you depends on if you're needed. stupid in my opinion but whatever. so back to point the box was a dressy panty box and on it it said it was suppose to take four and a half hours so I figured they were using at least part of my on call. Well it took me five and a half hours to do the dressy panties. Well one of my managers had come in the back to check on us...gets on my nerves and always asking how's it coming....it's coming what do you want me to say. Well I asked her if they were going to use my the rest of my on call when I was done with the DP box, and she said probably not since Melanie was there and could finish it since it was two hours of processing and she was there for four. Well when I finished there was one box left and so I cleaned up my area and got my stuff and went to clock out and the other manager was mad and irritated with me because I wasn't staying for my whole on call, and I told her what the other manager told me and she like needed a reason to get mad at me and so told me that I shouldn't have my keys and purse and such out of my locker when I clock out and that I needed to check with her. Well what I want to know was when did this go into effect and what is up her butt. She was seriously in a foul mood and took it out on Brittany the other processor and I. So she told me I could go and that the other manager could walk me out. The other one questioned my like I was on trial. She asked if any one checked to make sure I cleaned up and logged how long it took me to the dang box and such and I do that all the time. I wind up cleaning up after everyone. She really gets on my last nerve. So they finally let me go. So long story short I deal with crap, I do hard work and don't get paid enough, I can't get full time, and I can't get benefits there. So hopefully the Lowe's job works out. The other processor applied at Lowe's too...lol. We're both fed up feeling like slaves and that we aren't appriciated.

So I applied at Lowe's yesterday online. I'm hoping to get a job there. I do like working at Victoria's Secret, and I don't have a problem with it but I'm not making enough money there, and I can't get full time. Since I'm not in school this semester I need a full time job and I'd like something that pays a little more. Also if I get a job at Lowe's I can get health care. Well that's the latest with Lou.

Semi Annual Sale

So last night I was scheduled from five to midnight to do the semi annual sale reset at work. I was fine with that but then midnight came and went and we were no where near being finished. So we didn't get finished until FIVE this morning. So I worked twelve hours straight without a break. And I am scheduled from ten to six. Well since I worked five hours extra last night I decieded I'm sleeping in, and I don't care. So I turned off my phone and alarms and got about five and a half hours of sleep. So I'm going to take my time getting ready. I'm really in no hurry. Courtney, my manager, called my phone, she didn't sound mad which is good and she shouldn't. So I'm just going to tell them I slept through my alarm.
