New Hair

So I've been wanting to dye my hair since before the wedding so I did!

Mr. Grizzly

So I went grocery shopping at the beginning of the week. I went to target to price their grocery items and they wound up being way cheaper. I found ground beef on sale for a buck and a quarter a pound so I stock piled. Well on my list was chicken and other stuff. I get home and bring all the groceries in and start to make room in my freezer for the nine pounds of ground beef. So it took me a while to readjust my freezer. Well I go to put up the rest of my groceries and I see Mr. Grizzly, our little cat, in one of the target bags pulling out the chicken I had picked up. That little punk. It was so funny that I couldn't be mad at him. It was really funny.

Long Week

Where to begin. It has been a very long week. Monday was Bachelor day, Tuesday...I can't even remember what I did after work, Wednesday was staying longer at work, Lost, and my boss got fired, Thursday was Survivor and first day with my new boss. And I'm so glad it's Friday but I have a work meeting tomorrow and then a manager's meeting. It's been a long week. The new boss seems good. He knows what he's doing, and knows how to run a store, and I'm on his good side. Sot that's always good. =D Oh I opened with boss' boss today but he's good company and helped out a lot today so I didn't mind one bit. So all in all it's been a very long week. Oh I remember Tuesday my cat crapped on my floor and I couldn't fall asleep till about two.

New

So last weekend while I was grocery shopping I came across a slushy/snow cone machine as well as an ice cream machine. So I called Les and said how cool it would be. So I get home with just the groceries and talk to Les and we both agreed we needed to have them both, so we used some of our Wedding money and have to fun little machines now. =D I made Les' favorite Vanilla yesterday and I'll probably make some more today when I get home. =D

Little Adventure

So we had quite the adventure last weekend. Last Saturday Les and I went to his rents house to go do laundry. I left and went to go to Mom and Dad's and luckily they weren't home and didn't realize I had the keys to their house in my purse. So I went to the apartment and walked in the door and hear water. I look in our downstairs bathroom and see water dripping from the vent, the ceiling, and down the walls. I threw the keys on the floor and ran upstairs and our upstairs bathroom had overflowed. We had a leaky valve and the water kept running and over flowed the toilet. Luckily it was just clear water because it was just the actual toilet water. So I run to get all the towels we have and started to wipe up the water. So I run downstairs to get what was and no longer is my kool aid pitcher and start getting water from the toilet and into the tub. I call the emergency maintenance number and don't hear from them for an hour and a half. I call Les freaking out but there isn't much to do except keep shoveling water from the toilet to the tub until maintenance shows up since they are only on call on the weekends. So they show up and fix our toilet. So Sunday my bathrooms got the ultimate scrub down. So that was our little adventure for the weekend!

Nothing New

Nothing new has really gone on in the life of the newlyweds. We had Charlie over for dinner last week. We had burgers and fries. I think I burned myself every day last week...lol....either at work or at home...lol. We are doing laundry at the Deals. I did my grocery shopping today for the week. We are going to clean the apartment this weekend. We may go to Joann's fabric and use the Christmas money from my other mom and dad to get fabric to make curtains to help kind of complete and finish our apartment. I need to go to hobby lobby a price the black boxes I used for the wedding to organize my kitchen. We got to go to storage to put up the Christmas tree and some other stuff that's lying around the house. We went to Jess and Steven's Thursday and had a nurf war and had dinner. It was wonderful. Thank you guys again for having us over. I think Les and I need to get some nurf guns...lol. =D We'd have a good playing field since we have an upstairs and downstairs that is loft like. We saw Bride Wars last night and it was really funny. We both enjoyed it. That just about sums up our week.

New Addition

So last night Uncle Charlie brings in this cute little kitty cat who just happens to look a lot like Bear. It's scary how much they look a like. He's so cute. So we took him to our apartment. He was so hungry and wanted attention. So I fed him some turkey that he practically in haled so we took him home and fed him some wet cat food. I went to the store to get kitty food. We have cat food but I figured kitty food would be good for him, and I needed more cat litter. Charlie came up with a good name for him Griz so we call him Mr. Grizzly. He's so cute. He's very playful and the perfect playmate for Bear. So we went out today and got a cat climber Bear has been needing one and so we figured since we have a new addition we could really use one. We got a bunch of new cat toys too. So we have two happy cats. =D
