It's been a while

Well it's been a while since I've had a post. Christmas went really well. Family is on their way down and I need to finish my room and clean the bathroom. I need to clean Cali's cage. I need to vaccumm (SP) my room. Mom and I yesterday got up before the butt crack of dawn and went shopping. I made out like a bandit. I saved about three hundred dollars. I got all my Christmas shopping down for next year from Les and me for the adults. All we have left for next year is siblings and cousins. He should be happy with me. I saved us money and we won't break the bank next year....lol. He should be happy since I'm all about saving money and getting good deals. =D Well I need to stop procrastinating and take a shower and start cleaning and getting my room and the bedroom ready for tonight.

Six months

So Les and I celebrated our six month anniversary. We usually don't do anything out of the ordinary but to celebrate we went to the movies and then had dinner. We went and saw "Enchanted" and we LOVED it. We really enjoyed it. It was great and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Jenn have you taken the girls to see it yet? Then after the movies we went to Panera's and had dinner. It was yummy. It was so good. We usually eat fast food or something cheap like cheap pizzas and we don't go to the movies much. We are broke. It's usually one or the other but six months is a big date in our opinion. I can and can't believe it's been six months. It seems like we've been together forever but then again it's like holy cow it's already been six months. It's amazing how fast time can fly especially the older you get. It seems that there isn't enough time in a day. I know as a kid you always want to grow up and I'm all for growing up but it seemed to happen so fast and it just keeps picking up speed and isn't stopping. It's like a speeding train. Well my Handsome Prince is playing piano. =D I love it when he plays!

A new week

So it's Sunday. I know this week is going to fly by fast. Every week does. I need to finish up my Christmas gifts and send them off. The family came back and the house looked good. You'd never know my room had thrown up. My room on the other hand is a work in progress. I rearranged it once again and so now i'm still in the midst of putting it back together. Tomorrow is Les and I's six month anniversary (sp). =D Yay us. It's been an awesome six months and it's hard to believe it's already been six months and then again it's like it's only been six months. It seems like we've been together forever. Well it is exactly one month till Christmas. I got to stop piddle farting around with Christmas gifts and get them done. I've been working a lot lately. Friday wasn't as bad at work as I thought it was going to be but then again I do work in the back and didn't have to come in till noon. Lucky me...lol. I'm almost done with Christmas shopping I just have to put things together and finish making some of them. I can't wait for everyone to meet Les at christmas time. Hively family you need to come down for Christmas!!!!! Well that ties up my thoughts at the moment.

Disatster

So tomorrow the family comes back and I have to put the house back together. Les said it looks like my room threw up...lol. I'm in the middle of rearranging it. I hung up all my clean clothes. Now I just have to put all my other clothes up in my drawers. lol. Well I better get to work and start on it now. That I'm watching Denis the Menace...lol.

Long week

So I can't believe it's only Tuesday. I've been working eight hour days. I've hardly been home. When I have been home, I have been studying for my Government test. Urgh!!! I'm exhausted. Today at work I moved all of our shipment. We have way too much shipment. We have no where to go with it. I have to organize everthing today and I'm going to have arms of steel. Well I'm about to pass out and I'm hoping I pass it.

Already going on Thursday

I can't believe how fast this week has gone by. So I was off of work Monday. Every day I have off seems to fly by so freakin fast. Tuesday Les and I went on quite the bike ride. We found some woods near his house across from McNair. (my old elementary school)There is a trail back there and if you follow it one way it looks like it'll lead you to Ryan Road. (For those not familiar with the area a decent amount to bike ride) It was very hilly and steep and some points. Rocky and lots of trees. Going down hill I could just picture me running into a tree or hitting a rock wrong and flying off. If I had hurt my bike it would have been a long walk back to Les' house. So the trail split going towards Good Samarating (spelling?) Village or what seemed to go back toward Les' house. Oh and before we left we decieded to grab our his and hers mag lights which was a good idea because we wound up trying to find our way back in the dark. Even with flashlights it was kind of hard. Well, we came upon a road and decided to follow it and well it led to what we think was where the dug or pumped for oil. I don't know the official term. There were lined ponds and such, and semi trailers, and big tubes and such. So We go around it and the road seems to lead to nothing and it's kind of scary looking. Les decided to hop the barb wired fence and see what was around us, if there was another way home because we were making it up as we went along. We found a subdivision and it wound up being the one across from McNair. So we finally made it home. It was quite the adventure for us. I've been working later or after it gets dark these past couple of days so we haven't been able to venture into more of the unknown....lol

SuNdAy

So Les and I had pancakes this morning, went to church, went to his house, bought a cushion for my bike seat it's great now, went bike riding, played at the playground, walked from the park to his house, went bike riding again, had a laughing attack, and now i'm procrastinating on homework. =D

PINK

So today at work, I got to basically redo the Pink rooms in our store. I got to rearrange and move things how i saw fit and how i thought looked good. It was my time to shine and I think I did well. Renee one of our CSLs said it looked good. Amy our store manager totally trusts my judgement obviously since she put it in my control. I had so much fun. On a not so good note. I'm failing algebra. I'm completely lost. I don't see how a person can look at and equation and determine how it would graph. are you kidding me how do you know that f of x to the negative one equals the square root of x minus two. Sorry I just don't get it. I made a freakin eleven on my last test. I'd have to ace every test and my final and my homework from here on out and i still wouldn't be able to make out with a seventy so i'm quite discouraged and freakin hate math at the moment. well that's all i wrote for now.

Feel like a kid again

So Les and I went bike riding again. We went down the park and almost back when we decided to go to McNair and go back to the park and then home. That bike sit has made my bum sore but it was fun. We've been having lots of fun here lately with the evening walks when it isn't too cold, playing at the new McNair playground, checking out the infamous outdoor class room, wow that happened in November of my 5th grade year. That would be November of 1998 I believe wow almost ten years. We've also been going rollerblading and around McNair. When did we grow up, it happened so fast. Until next time.

Surprise

So today the plan was when I got off of work to go to wally world and get my bike for Christmas. Les got rollerblades when I have rollerblades and I got a bike when he has a bike. So I get off of work, we pick up my car (the emergency break broke) so afterwards we go to his house to pick up the truck to go to walmart and well sitting in the front room is my brand new purple bike =D I new I was getting it but I didn't realize he had already gotten it. He put it together and fixed it all up for me =D I was excited. We decided to take a stroll around the block and I realized I hadn't ridden a bike I think in over ten years. I was a little wobbly. lol. Then after we ate we went down a few blocks to the park and did that loop and came back. It was a little bit chilly but we made it. My legs were killing me and they probably will be sore tomorrow. lol I got some new pajamas and a new outfit that I've had my eye on at work for freakin ever. That's my exciting day!! woo hoo!!!

Early Christmas

So Les and I have decided to have an early Christmas. I got him roller blades and so now we go roller blading along with our evening walks. And for me, Les is getting me a bike so we can go bike riding together. We're pretty active and don't like to sit around and do nothing. So between kayaking, roller blading, walking, and bike riding we pretty much have all the mobility transportation types down. Les is going to get his four wheeler fixed sometime so that's going to be fun going mudding again. I am really excited about my bike. We're going to take the truck and get it tomorrow. I can't wait. Geeze,
So it's already November. It seems like this year has been flying by especially these past few months. Time never seemed to go by this fast when I was a kid or in high school. When did I grow up?! Does anyone else feel that way at times because I know I sure do?! I helped Les get some stage lights the other day at Ryan High School. I don't miss high school. It seems longer than a year and a half since I went there and then again it seems like yesterday. It's been about 6 years since I've been in middle school which means it's been almost 10 years since I was in elementary school. I was working last Saturday and a teacher who used to work at McNair was at VS shopping with her daughter and she looked the same as she did when I was at McNair. Crazy how you can remember teachers and staff. I worked today and I worked in shipment processing. We are about to have a reset once again and our new bra is the air push up bra in angels and so I had to sensor everything and sort them and then sort them by color but I got it all done. I really like shipment processing and Jenn pointed out a good point about it. I get to be alone. I do like to be anti-social if I can....lol. I do like it better back there; I feel productive, time goes by much faster, and I can have some me time where it's just me and it's quiet and I don't have to listen to the same songs over and over again. I may invest in an IPOD if they continue to use me in the back after the first of the year. We watched The Village tonight. I had only seen it once before. Les liked it, and I caught onto a few more things that I hadn't before. Well that's about all the randomness from this brain for a while. Until next time.

weekend

Well the weekend flew by pretty dang fast. I worked Friday and all day Saturday. Sunday Les and I had church and then we went bowling and surprisingly did well. I got a new high score of 137. I was pretty happy with that. It was a lot of fun. Then we ate pizza and did some running around town. My work meeting was canceled. I'm not sure why but I was fine with that. I had some studying for two tests and I'm pretty sure I stunk it up. =( I went over to Les' for about and hour or so and then came back home to study. He is playing on his keyboard. I love hearing him play. =D We still need to get our passport pictures. I can't wait for the Canada trip next summer. I'm still hating school and loving work. I'm hoping they keep me in the back in shipment processing. I like it. I feel productive and it keeps me busy. Call me crazy but I like working when I am in shipment processing. Well that's about all that's new with me. Nothing too exciting. Oh Jenn, do you think Aly would like some dress up clothes for Christmas? Peace Out!

Yay!

Well I finally got my new phone. I am very happy to have it back. Les and I were going to go kayaking but it was too windy. I worked about 36 hours this past week. My next paycheck should be nice...lol. I can't wait till we get to get our new Wave Push Up Bra in Very Sexy as well as our new perfume Super Model. I love that scent. Jenn if they don't carry the Wave bra in my size do you want it? I don't know if you wear push up bras or not. We're also supposedly suppose to get the new pink with rinestone look santa hats. I can't wait they are super cute. Oh corporate came to work Friday. The vice president of the Victoria's Secret Company was there. Everyone was on pins and needles and stressed out. I'm totally burned out on school and am sick of it. I want to take a break. Well that's all the gossip in my life right now.

My cell phone was suppose to come monday tuesday at the latest. Well today being thursday I called DHL and they lost my package. So I had to call the phone claim company and well after being on hold for like 10 minutes, they are going to send me a new phone. It's suppose to come tomorrow. Suppose to being the key word. I'm really hoping that it comes tomorrow. It sucks not being able to text Les! =(

Okay here's the latest and it's not the greatest. I dropped my phone in the toliet last thursday. =( It sucks. I'm waiting on my new phone to come!

Sick

So I've been sick since Wednesday. I feel like complete crap. I'm pretty pasty white. More so than usual. I went to the doctor and well they don't really know what's wrong with me either. They took my blood, never had blood drawn before. I don't even know my blood type. They checked my white cell count, checked for strep, and mono, and well they got nothing. So it's viral and I have to wait it out. GRRR! I want to be better and NOW!

We have moved into our new store and have gotten it all set up. It looks amazing and it's so nice. I had my last day at Applebees and I was thrilled to be done. Now I'm all Victoria's Secret. Our store opens next thursday, and next week I'm scheduled almost fourty hours. I'll be exhausted. I got an 80 on my first algebra test. I thought I did bad but I didn't. Apparently we were able to use a page of notes and I wasn't aware of that so I'd say I did pretty dad gum good. I've had a pretty good week. Monday sucked as well as Tuesday but the rest of the week went pretty smooth and pretty good. Well that about sums it up for now.

kids aren't for me

So I had Jacey Beth for the weekend. I have decided that I don't want kids for a while. She wore me out. She was needy and the world had to revolve around her and if i wasn't paying attention to her she made sure it didn't stay that long for while. The kid wore me out. I don't plan on being a mommy for a while i just plan on being auntie. We went to IKEA saturday and go some awesome pillows. I got two green ones and Les got two blue ones. I'm always complaining on how he needs more pillows. The ones i picked up for me i may just bring over to his house and leave them there. we are always over there watching movies. he has a projector screen and surround sound. it's nice. he likes it loud just like dad too...lol. Well i have an algebra test tomorrow and i really don't think i'm going to do well on it. i don't like my teacher and her way of teaching. it just doesn't work for me. i'm in a rut right now. i really don't want to be in school. i'd much rather just be working. Well i hope everyone had a good weekend.

Weekend

Well this weekend has been pretty busy. i worked friday and saturday at applebees. I put in my two weeks notice at Applebees on Friday. YAY!!!! Les and I went to church today and then he is doing the lights for the play Annie at DCT. So I went to the meeting with him. I almost got recruited to help with costumes...lol. I haven't seen much of my family lately. Oh yea Les and I looked through pictures at his house of his family and he looks so much like his dad it's scary. They look very much alike. They had some old time photos which were cool to look at. Well that's my busy life. I got school and work in the morning and then school in the evening.

Second Day

Well yesterday was my second at Victoria's Secret. They put me on the floor. I worked in the Very Sexy and Sexy Little Things room. I have that room pretty much down. Then I worked the dressing room. Not too hard...lol. I had to take a test on our credit card knowledge. I work at Victoria's Secret next tuesday. I don't know what they'll have me do but I'm excited.

Well I had my first day at Victoria's Secret yesterday. We had some orientation. I had my first official day today. They put me on the cash register. It went well. I had a few questions. I get to dress up and look all professional like. I got to wear a headset so I felt special and official. When I needed help on the register, I would just talk onto the microphone on the headset and BAM someone came and helped me! =D The hardest part is going to be getting down all the bras and their purposes. I did find two bras that actually fit me....yay!!! So I will probably do some shopping real soon. Our newest bra is really cool. It's two bras in one. It's reversable. There are no seams. The material is way cool. well I'm going to go eat some cookie cake and aggervate Les!

Well, I found out this evening that I got hired at Victoria's Secret! I am very excited. I go in tomorrow evening at five for orientation. I'm so flippin excited. I can't wait! Well I thought I would share my very exciting news! I hope everyone had a good labor day!

So I am almost positive that I'm getting a new job! They just have to check my references and then I will get a call back. I'm so flippin excited. I'll be working at Victoria's Secret. I'm really excited. I'm tired of working in the food buisness. I'm happy I'll get to try something completely new and different! Well that's to good news for week! Peace adn chicken grease!

school

So I had my first day of school. My algebra teacher is okay. She is kind of boring. I kind of wanted to go back to sleep in her class but to keep myself awake i texted Les....lol. Then I went to government. My government teacher is flippin awesome. She has such a passion for teaching and you can tell she loves it. She seems really cool. So I'm looking forward to her class. She said her tests were hard but she offers lots of extra credit. Oh and in algebra if you make an A in that class you don't have to take the final exam and in government the final exam is optional. If you are happy with your grade at the end of the year then that's your grade. I went to Italian and I was looking forward to that class but after class I was pretty discouraged. I'm the only really white person in that class and I think everyone has either gone to Italy, is Italian, or has some connection to it some way shape or form. The teacher hardly spoke a lick of English and was like this is just the ice breaker. I felt like the only one who didn't know what the heck was going on. It's like they dropped me into a class room in Italy. I did meet this one girl who's parents are from Iran and she is almost fluent in Italian and is fluent in whatever the people of Iran speak...Iraniese???lol. She would help me. She's really sweet. Well I'm really tired. I've been up since six. Peach out!

Bored

I start school Monday, and I am excited. My summer has been pretty boring. What little I do work, I work in the evenings so my days are a whole lot of nothing. I started another cross stitch. I've been watching Hannah Montana and Drake and Josh every morning. Although now Drake and Josh time has changed so to take it's place is another Disney Channel show: Phil of the future. Yes I am 20 and in college and watch the Disney Channel. =D Well I made some awesome peach cobbler the ohter day and it's almost gone. I had it for breakfast. =DWell that's it for now. Les wins this time

So Les and I were at Michaels just kind of piddle farting around. We were tired of being at home so we just needed to get out and do something so we went to Hobby Lobby and then Michaels. Well while we were at Michaels we were joking with each other and giving each other a hard time. I'm always giving him a hard time...I know shocker right....lol. Well we were going through the Halloween section and there was this goblin golem looking creature hanging on one of the shelves. So while we are joking around and giving each other a hard time, we're looking around and Les calmly says "Oh hey look it's you!" pointing and the creature thing. I got to say it was pretty good. I laughed for a good five minutes. He never gets me that good where I have no reply. I'm pretty quick on my feet but he got me that time and good. I guess the men got us this time Jenn! Nothing too exciting

So nothing too terribley exciting has happened since my last post. I finished the cross stitch I was working on for Les' parents for christmas. I started the next one and oh man it is hard. It's dark navy canvas and black thread is terrible...my eyes are asking what the heck is going on....lol. We went and saw the Bourne Ultimatum and I definately recomend it. My guinea pig is running laps again. You put her on the ground and she just sits there but she runs around so much in her cage it's so weird. Well that about concludes it. Oh and I'm so happy my family is back. =D It was too boring and lonesome here without them, and I missed them. Peace and chicken grease.

FaMiLy!

They're coming home! They'll be here in about seven to eight hours. woo hoo! The house is presentable. Dishes are clean, laundry is done, house has been vaccumed and dusted, kitchen has been swept, dishes are done, just don't look at my bedroom and bathroom...lol.

People are mean

So tonight at work, I worked with Amanda. She's okay but she's not my favorite. She wanted me to close instead of her but I told her I couldn't because I HAVE to clean this house up. Well she said that her knee was hurting and that she was going to die (she likes to exagerate-spelling?) and I told her my parents will KILL me if I don't clean the house. I have so much to do before they come home and I have to open tomorrow so it'll be an early morning for me. She was so rude. She was not nice at all and was pissed off at me. I'm sorry but I have other things to do. I was going to offer to close for her tomorrow so tonight would have been her last shift but after not being nice to me, I said forget it and didn't even mention it. You burn me I'm grabbing the blow torch! =D

Can't figure it out

So i can't figure out how to put other people's blogs on my page so i don't have to mark them as a favorite on web links and I don't know how to post pictures. help would be much appriciated!

oh and another thing. I think I'm going to rename my guinea pig from Cali to Laps because Laps is so much more fitting but I do like Cali but then again I don't know if I have a boy guinea pig or a girl guinea pig. But anyways, Cali aka Laps likes to run around in circles...aka laps....in the cage, oh and another thing the pig can jump and gets some good airtime. it's quite amusing, not gonna lie.

What I've realized

What I've realized is that I miss my family, and it's really boring without them. Tonight I made chicken salad, I would say cesar salad but we didn't have cesar dressing. Les had ranch, and I had honey mustard dressing. Anyways, back to this pointless story, we ate dinner, had dessert, and watched a movie. Well, Les passed out on the couch, and I cross stitched. We're like the old married couple....lol. I make dinner and we watch movies. omg, we're turning into my parents.....not that that's a bad thing...lol. well that's the randomness for the day. I'm going to try to get some sleep. Oh and btw this house is kind of creepy by yourself alone. I don't like it one bit. So family come home soon!

The weekend

This weekend I did a whole lot of nothing. We finished watching Grey's Anatomy season one and season two. Season three comes out September 11th and Season four starts September 27th. We watched Stranger than Fiction and that was better than what i thought it was going to be. It wasn't the greatest but it wasn't the worst. I bought four dvds at blockbuster...the four for twenty deal, I can never resist...lol. I have five shifts this week. =D Well that about sums up my exciting life....lol.

life by myself

So living on my own isn't as cracked up as it's thought to be especially when there is freakin no one to talk to. My best friend is the tv and junk food. lol. I need people and chaos in the house. It's so quiet with the exception of the bird (we are getting along i think we've made a truce) and my guinea pig makes noises every now and then. I can't wait for school to start...wait did i really just say that...yes i did. i've started roller blading. i've done a mile and a half every day for the past few days. i'd like to keep it up but when it comes to working out it only lasts for about two weeks. ha ha. i do like cooking dinner for Les and I but then he leaves and it's back to the silence. so that's my exciting summer since my family is out of town. I do like driving the vue since my cars in the shop. do you think mom and dad would trade me....yea didn't think so. Well that about sums up the past two weeks of my life. i do work just not enough. i'm going to have a little chat with my manager if i dont get more hours. three hostesses just left so there should be no excuse for not getting hours. well i'm going to go pig out on more junk food and watch tv untill i have to get ready. peace and chicken grease!
