Nothing New

Nothing new has really gone on in the life of the newlyweds. We had Charlie over for dinner last week. We had burgers and fries. I think I burned myself every day last week...lol....either at work or at home...lol. We are doing laundry at the Deals. I did my grocery shopping today for the week. We are going to clean the apartment this weekend. We may go to Joann's fabric and use the Christmas money from my other mom and dad to get fabric to make curtains to help kind of complete and finish our apartment. I need to go to hobby lobby a price the black boxes I used for the wedding to organize my kitchen. We got to go to storage to put up the Christmas tree and some other stuff that's lying around the house. We went to Jess and Steven's Thursday and had a nurf war and had dinner. It was wonderful. Thank you guys again for having us over. I think Les and I need to get some nurf guns...lol. =D We'd have a good playing field since we have an upstairs and downstairs that is loft like. We saw Bride Wars last night and it was really funny. We both enjoyed it. That just about sums up our week.

New Addition

So last night Uncle Charlie brings in this cute little kitty cat who just happens to look a lot like Bear. It's scary how much they look a like. He's so cute. So we took him to our apartment. He was so hungry and wanted attention. So I fed him some turkey that he practically in haled so we took him home and fed him some wet cat food. I went to the store to get kitty food. We have cat food but I figured kitty food would be good for him, and I needed more cat litter. Charlie came up with a good name for him Griz so we call him Mr. Grizzly. He's so cute. He's very playful and the perfect playmate for Bear. So we went out today and got a cat climber Bear has been needing one and so we figured since we have a new addition we could really use one. We got a bunch of new cat toys too. So we have two happy cats. =D

Breaking News

So since Les and I do not have internet it's taken me a while to post the latest. So Monday morning I go to work and I'm the first one there, and I'm walking up to the door and the left side door the glass is shattered. So I search my pockets for my cell phone to call 911 and of all days I forget my cell phone. So because we are surrounded by businesses and they all don't open till like nine, I slowly walked inside to get the phone to call 911. So I talk to the operator and tell her that Sonic was broken into. She asks me for the address and I have no idea what our address is. So I told her Sonic off of Colorado Blvd. and that we are across from the mall and in between the social security office/post office and the Veterans clinic center place. I called it the Veterans Place...lol. So she asks me if I have touched anything and I said only the door and the phone. So she tells me to wait in my car and that she has dispatched police. So I go and sit in my car and not even two minutes later a cop shows up. We both go inside and inspect and thank goodness the closer locked the safe otherwise they would have gotten away with quite a bit of cash. What was strange though was there was a jar of change by the computer that they didn't take, there was a car hop changer that was left there, and there was eleven bucks in the drawer that wasn't taken. They had looked through the drawers because they were open and one was pried open but luckily no one was there when they broke in and luckily they didn't get away with anything, but it was a frightening experience.

Rude awakening

So the other night, this past week, we had a storm go through and Les and I were in bed. I had just dosed off and all of sudden I hear this racket and I knew exactly what it was. So in our apartment we have these two windows in the living room and the second one is above the first since it's a two story loft like apartment. Well I guess Bear, our cat, wanted to look out the top window that has the living room under it. Well it didn't work out too well. He clung to the curtains but that didn't last long. Then he fell and the Christmas tree broke his fall and he broke one of my Barbie ornaments and one of the branches. lol. It's funny now, it was NOT at the time. So that is our crazy cat Christmas story....lol. =D

December

So married life is going well. I've been sick with the flu and Les has had to work overnights this week. So we both have been a little off this week. I can't believe Christmas is now less than three weeks away. We have our Christmas tree up. I can't wait to do our Christmas baking and I've been putting mula aside for doing after Christmas shopping with Mom. I can't wait. I haven't been shopping in forever and I'll get to spend time with my Mommy. =D

being married

So we have our apartment pretty much set up how we want it minus a few details. I love being the wife and cooking dinner although without cable and internet and chick flicks it gets kind of boring...lol. We had mom and dad over for dinner last sunday and this sunday we are having Les' family over for dinner. =D I'm making dessert for Thanksgiving with the Deal's. =D I'll be making pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cheese cake, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I can't wait. So we have a lot to look forward to. Next friday I'll be wanting to put the Christmas tree up that Mom found for us last year. =D So lots to look forward too. =D

Apartment part two

So today Les and I got everything to the apartment and took it out of the boxes. I have the kitchen almost completely set up with the exception of a couple of things. I am so excited and can't wait till it's completely finished. The kitchen is almost done. Our side tables, coffee table, and rug are set up in the living room. Les put more lighting in the apartment. Yay! We got almost all of our basic grocery stuff with the exception of a couple things I forgot and cold stuff since we won't actually be in the apartment regularly till the end of the week. YAY again! Well I am really tired and need to go to bed so more details to come.
