December

So married life is going well. I've been sick with the flu and Les has had to work overnights this week. So we both have been a little off this week. I can't believe Christmas is now less than three weeks away. We have our Christmas tree up. I can't wait to do our Christmas baking and I've been putting mula aside for doing after Christmas shopping with Mom. I can't wait. I haven't been shopping in forever and I'll get to spend time with my Mommy. =D

being married

So we have our apartment pretty much set up how we want it minus a few details. I love being the wife and cooking dinner although without cable and internet and chick flicks it gets kind of boring...lol. We had mom and dad over for dinner last sunday and this sunday we are having Les' family over for dinner. =D I'm making dessert for Thanksgiving with the Deal's. =D I'll be making pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cheese cake, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I can't wait. So we have a lot to look forward to. Next friday I'll be wanting to put the Christmas tree up that Mom found for us last year. =D So lots to look forward too. =D

Apartment part two

So today Les and I got everything to the apartment and took it out of the boxes. I have the kitchen almost completely set up with the exception of a couple of things. I am so excited and can't wait till it's completely finished. The kitchen is almost done. Our side tables, coffee table, and rug are set up in the living room. Les put more lighting in the apartment. Yay! We got almost all of our basic grocery stuff with the exception of a couple things I forgot and cold stuff since we won't actually be in the apartment regularly till the end of the week. YAY again! Well I am really tired and need to go to bed so more details to come.

Apartment

So Les and I started painting our apartment yesterday. It's looking amazing; we can't wait to finish it. We are hoping to finish it today, and then we should be able to move stuff in by the end of the week. Maybe we'll have an apartment warming party or something so everyone can come see it. =D It's looking good. =D I can't wait to show it off when we're done painting. =D

Holy Crap

So holy crap is it going to be busy from here on out or what. My bridal shower is next weekend, we'll be painting our apartment in two weeks, moving in in three weeks, and we're getting married in four weeks from today. We have lots to do so we're in crunch time but it's all starting to finally sink in. I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D It's almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

YAY!!!!!

So Les and I have some very exciting news. We found our apartment. We are super excited and can't wait to move in. It's a loft so our bedroom is upstairs and it's enormous. Downstairs is a half bath, the dining room, the living room, the kitchen, and we have a wood fireplace. =D We are so excited. WE can not wait to get it all ready to move into. The owners before us painted it dark blue in the dining room, the living room is a mustard yellow and the ceiling in the living room goes up to the second floor so there is a lot of mustard yellow, and then the upstairs bedroom is an avocado green. I don't know what they were thinking. They were going to paint it back to white but we want to paint it so their going to knock like 50 bucks off our first months rent or something like that. We are right by the office so it'll be quiet. YAY. We are right next to the laundry mat. We could probably throw it from our front door. OMG we are so freakin excited and can't wait. We did the application this weekend and she told us she's taking that one off of the available list and that it'll be ours so next weekend we'll come in with the deposits since Les gets paid Thursday and I'll have a week worths of tips. We're going to see if we can move in the first and see if we can come a couple weekends before to paint it but not actually move in till the 1st. I can't wait. We absolutely love it and can't wait to move in and make it ours. Oh and the 7 1/2 foot tree Mom bought us last year after Christmas will definitely fit in the living room since the ceiling in that room goes up to the second floor. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The latest and greatest

So here is the latest and greatest with the wedding plans. We will not have the reception at The Holiday Inn. It's going to by a kind of VIP reception for really family only. The reception is now going to be at The Greenhouse Restaurant which is like a block away from the church. So people can walk to the restaurant if they want or they can drive. I put down a deposit and so it's set. All we got to figure out now is the time.
